What we collect
We collect personal data only where you provide it or where it is needed to operate the site:
- Enquiry details you submit through our contact form or by email — typically your name, organisation, email address, country and the content of your message.
- Aggregate analytics collected through our self-hosted Matomo, configured without tracking cookies and with IP addresses anonymised.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and take steps at your request before any agreement — Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and to keep it secure — our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Where we ask for it, on the basis of your consent — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Analytics and cookies
We use a privacy-friendly, self-hosted Matomo analytics setup that does not set tracking cookies, anonymises IP addresses, respects the browser Do-Not-Track signal, and shares nothing with advertising networks or third parties. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf — our website host and our self-hosted analytics — and only as needed to provide the site. We may disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
Where your data is held
Your personal data is processed within the EU/EEA.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected — for enquiries, for the duration of our discussions and a reasonable period afterwards — and then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access your data and to request its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
